He has a particular interest in family reunification and family resolution issues in intrafamilial abuse cases and has developed programmes for non-abusing partners. Roger Kennington has been a specialist practitioner working with sexual abusers for the Probation Service Northumbria since 1991. He developed and co-authored an accredited groupwork programme for sex offenders. Roger is currently the coordinator of the Sexual Behaviour Unit in Newcastle upon Tyne.
