"Brianna is a cross-dresser's wife. Empathic, understanding and honest in her struggles, Brianna tries to come to terms with her Husband, herself, and the ""other"" woman. This other woman lives in a hidden suitcase, but she is also Brianna's Husband. This is an absorbing insight into Brianna's world, emotional, sad; at times, hilariously funny. Brianna never set out to become a cross-dresser's wife, but this is what she became. Follow her ever changing life, where acceptance seems to belong, in fact, to no genre at all. From stark revelation, Brianna gives an honest and heartrending account of how she and her Husband coped with elusive boundaries of things which simply could not be changed. Humour runs through the narrative and there are colourful characters along the way. But there is also sadness and empathy for an existence where for many, there is little help or support. Brianna shows you several decades of her life and her world of confusion and indecision, which lead to a positive route of self-discovery and understanding, which sometimes brings unexpected triumph from the darkest of moments. ""All they had in my size,"" She said, ""there isn't a lot of choice in charity shops.""There was an anguish in Her eyes, a longing for better.I felt incredibly sad as this melancholy creature touched every nerve in my body, crawling deep into my soul.She stood for a few moments, looking uneasy, before taking off thebargain bucket rags and stuffing them back into a stripey carrier bag.Zabina was gone. I strode confidently on my highest heels. I could only imagine how my Husband felt, as his stilettos tried to keep up with me and not fall down the stairs. It would not be a good entrance if he fell into a heap in the large rectangular hallway. I had a sudden and irrational fear. ""I hope they know which one of us is which,"" ran through my mind, followed by the mental reprimand which told me to stop being either stupid or ridiculous. The descent complete, in unison, we clicked our way across the hall and towards the large reception room."
