After studying painting at the Rhode Island School of Design, Steven Klein (born 1965) moved into photography, shooting high-profile campaigns for Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabanna, Alexander McQueen and Nike among others. He is particularly celebrated for his W magazine photo essays with Madonna, Tom Ford and Brad Pitt.
