He then moved on to the Hahn-Meitner-Institute in Berlin and to the University of Hamburg. His main research activities are based on the theoretical investigation of low-dimensional magnetic systems like thin films, multilattices, clusters, and magnetic nanostructures. Other fields of research include biophysics, polymerization, and superconductivity. During his reseach activities he stayed as guest scientist at universities and institutes in France, Sweden, and Mexico. Peter Jensen has presented his results in numerous scientific articles and conferences. He currently holds a post as guest scientist at the Free University of Berlin.
