Author Information

Birgit Schafer's interest in story telling started with her own children and continued through her profession as foreign language coordinator in a bilingual elementary school. As co-founder of a German/English dual-immersion school in California, she reviewed and enjoyed countless children's books in English and German, translated children's books and wrote some of her own stories to support the school's unique international curriculum. Now, that she is retired, she enjoys sharing her magical stories with families.
