Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationDr. Divaker Durairaj Chelladurai is a retired Professor and Former Dean of Agricultural Engineering at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering from TNAU. Over the course of his academic career, he taught various courses, including Electrical Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, and Agricultural Machine Design. Notably, he received the Jawaharlal Nehru Award for his 1995 Ph.D. dissertation and the TUCAS Gold Medal for M.E. in Farm Machinery. His research interests include field machinery design, soil tool modeling, and applying electronics and computers in agriculture. Dr. Chelladurai has successfully managed sponsored research projects, designed ten farm machines, and received training in Japan and the USA. As a life member of the Indian Society of Agricultural Engineers, he actively contributes to extending farm machinery to Tamil Nadu farmers and participates in national-level committees for ICAR.
