His publications include numerous articles on the history of Alexander the Great. Ryan Jones graduated from the University of Calgary with a BA in Ancient and Medieval History. He uses his knowledge, gained through experimental archaeology, to enrich his study and interpretation of historical texts. He lives and works in Calgary, Canada. Christa Hook began her illustrating career in 1986. Her work has featured extensively in the worlds of publishing and television, and she has established herself as one of Osprey's most popular illustrators.
