Lucy Baker is a fierce advocate and mentor for underserved youth, as she supports their healing journey by empowering and speaking experiences of hope for the future into their lives. Lucy offers her voice and writings as resources of organically lived experiences with homelessness and the foster care system. She inspires people to be resilient, speak their truth, and love others well. Lucy received a bachelor's degree from the University of La Verne and her Community Health Worker Certificate from Loma Linda University. She is a Peer Support Associate at San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools. Roy Juarez Jr. founded the human development company, IMPACTtruth, Inc. in 2005 with a dream to inspire youth and reunite families by sharing his turbulent yet inspirational life story. Juarez has partnered with national organizations such as the U.S. ARMY, Ford Motor Company Fund, and the United States Hispanic Leadership Institute to inspire thousands of individuals across the United States and abroad. His work has garnered national media attention on outlets such as CNN, Chicken Soup for the Soul, and many local and online publications. Jennifer Marie Martinez is a published Children's Book author and has since become a publisher and editor for IMPACTpublishing, Inc. She has been the Vice President of Operations since 2021, bringing author visions to fruition. Jennifer launched her company, Jennuine Life Coaching, to help others on their self-empowerment journey and uses her life coaching skills to coach authors with their storytelling.
