Since 1991 she has been the Director and Co-ordinator at Galleria Borghese. The author of many books and essays, she holds conferences in Italy and abroad. Bernard Aikema works as Professor of Modern art at the University of Nijmegen (Holland) and Leuven (Belgium), and as a Professor at Princeton and Harvard. His research concentrates on Venetian art and the European influence of the Renaissance.
