Denise Ditto is a native Texan and full-time children's author whose stories blend imagination, heart, and meaningful life lessons. She is best known for The Tooth Collector Fairies, an internationally award-winning chapter book series for readers in grades K-3. The series includes Batina's Best First Day, Home from Decay Valley, Tooth Fairy Day Celebration, and Lucas and the Magic Well. More than whimsical tales about tooth fairies, each book offers gentle opportunities for parents and children to talk about life's challenges and the moments that help young readers grow.Her work has earned numerous honors, including multiple Grand Prize Awards from the Chanticleer International Book Review Awards, several 5-star distinctions from Readers' Favorite, and recognition from the Story Monsters Ink Purple Dragonfly Book Awards.A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Houston-Downtown with a degree in professional writing, Denise is a longtime member of SCBWI and served as Vice President of Membership for ABWA's WOVEN chapter 2020-2022 terms, where she was named Woman of Excellence in 2021. She is also the former co-owner of the Houston Writers House.
