Alice Harwing is a well-known nutritional biologist born in San Francisco (California) in 1968. Alice grew up in a family with widespread weight problems. It was this personal history that ignited the flame of passion for a healthy and active lifestyle. At the age of 18, she moved to Los Angeles, where she attended the nutrition college. Alice was a brilliant student, and after graduation, she took a bachelor's degree in nutrition and dietetics. She currently lives in S. Francisco, in a penthouse overlooking the ocean with her husband, Paul. She runs her nutrition practice, helping hundreds of patients every year regain their target weight permanently. In her free time, Alice loves to play sports. She is a great fan of CrossFit, and every morning, she goes jogging on the beach accompanied by her faithful dog Jack, a wonderful Labrador. Her mission is to spread the ancient Latin proverb: mens sana in corpore sano - healthy mind in a healthy body. Through her books, she transmits the love for well-being and offers her readers practical strategies to regain and maintain their target weight without giving up good food.
