Overview

Putting A Stop To Generational Cycles of Abuse By Preventing #MeToo Moments! After having two of her own children and surviving two separate marriages that were riddled with abuse, Shaunda-Lee realized that she was at the center of a generational cycle of abuse epidemic. She realized that the information about abusive relationships is not effective when it comes to Millenials and the Z-Generation. These women believe abuse starts with a punch to the face, when in actual fact that punch will end the violent relationship. It takes one punch to put a person in the ground. Shaunda-Lee believes that the only way to prevent more generational cycles of abuse is by rolling up her sleeves and teaching young women what abusive traits look like in a partner or boyfriend BEFORE they start d1972ating. This information is coming out at a crucial time because safe houses are turning women with children away, because violent relationships are at an all-time high. Shaunda-Lee believes the old adage that prevention is the best medicine. Through LOVE, EXPERIENCE, and her own SURVIVAL, Shaunda-Lee's Love Letter to My Daughter addresses and exposes the traps of abusive relationships in a language that your daughters understand while empowering them as well!

What Others Have Said About Love Letter to My Daughter A powerful, riveting documentary of a true story insistent on saving lives of victims of domestic violence and abuse--past, current, and future. Shaunda-Lee's story has all of the components of a best-seller not just because she surviced, but because she has this wonderful X factor that young ladies flock to. As an experienced former police officer of over 35 years I have seen the catostrophic endings when bad things happen to these young ladies who find themselves trapped. In my professional capacity and as a friend I have had the honor of knowing Shaunda-Lee for 14 years. If anyone can get this desperately needed message and education out to our young ladies and make a huge positive impact, Shaunda-Lee has the integrity and the heart to see it through to save lives. Love Letter to My Daughter is riveting, raw, happy, sad, and completely inspirational and every girl from the age of 13 years old and up should have a copy of this book. - Martin Cheliak, M.O.M, Chief Superintendant, Royal Canadian Mounted Police This book isn't just for daughters. It's for mothers and sisters and grandmothers. This book is for women. Shaunda-Lee addresses issues of the #metoo movement with straightforward language and an empowering attitude that bursts through the wall of shame and secrecy silencing generations of young women. If you're female, Love Letter to My Daughter is a MUST-READ. - Paula Perro, B.A., Psychometrist
