A former curriculum director, she has a M.Ed. in curriculum and instruction. She spent the last decade teaching kindergarten, where she discovered her passion for picture books. When Chloe isn't perfecting her ramen recipe, you can find her rock climbing or dancing in the kitchen with her husband, son, and their imaginary dog, Miso. Violet Kim (Jung Ah Kim) received a degree in illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design. She is also an illustrator of Earth Day, Birthday! and If You're Going to a March.
