Reviews

Being a book series of three volumes of poetry aimed at healing and empowering (audiences) people in their daily lives. Author Teresia Simmons is ingenious in choosing titles which are in harmony with her messages. The poems are written in the most inspiring and empowering manner, and are powerful and insightful in their totality. The author's voice is matter-of-fact as she shares her life experiences throughout each of the three books. This is a profound approach, which helps in drawing the audience's attention. The narrative, prose style is straightforward and written in simple language. Words, and phrases are repeated to emphasize the different emotional moods and advice on how to handle the situations presented through the different experiences that encompass one's daily life!
