His diverse career has included stints as a professional baseball player, an insurance agent holding twelve professional designations, a sales manager, a business owner, a farm owner, and an author. He is a proud father and grandfather. Hal has appeared on television as a member of a Blues Brothers singing act, and has enjoyed many fishing, hunting, and scuba diving adventures worldwide.
