She spends her days exploring ghost towns, underground tunnels, secret doors, and lost places--then reviving their stories through her work. She served two terms as a commissioner for the City of Raleigh's Historic Development Commission, actively working to protect historic buildings from demolition. She's won multiple awards for her historic documentation.
