Overview

This collection is the work of members of the Carrollton Writers Guild: Just {Poetry group in Carrollton Georgia. These poems were performed at the Local Voices: Evening of Poetry in April 2025. The annual event is in celebration of National Poetry Month, and Eleanor Wolfe Hoomes initiated the activity to highlight the work of the local poets. The first section is a tribute to Eleanor who died in 2025. She was an outstanding guiding light for many years. The second section is selected works of the members and demonstrate a wide variety of styles.
