Author Information

Nicole Mechem is a California-based debut author whose storytelling is rooted in warmth, creativity, and the joy of seeing the world through children's eyes. Her first book, Lizabeth and the Great Tooth Fairy Blunder, was inspired by her young daughter's beautiful imagination. Blending playfulness with heart, Nicole reimagines a beloved childhood tradition in a way that delights children and parents alike. Nicole has spent nearly twenty years leading teams and building programs in both the nonprofit and technology sectors, but her most cherished role is being a mom. As a mother of two, she has seen firsthand the power of stories to spark curiosity, build confidence, and create meaningful family traditions. Her love of children's literature began when she was read to as a child and grew through the nightly ritual of reading aloud with her daughters. Kristina ""Chrissy"" Georgieva is a Bulgaria-based illustrator and graphic designer whose work is shaped by nature, travel, and a love of storytelling. Originally trained in medicine and with four years of experience in healthcare, she discovered her true passion in art and made the leap into design. Since then, she has built a thriving freelance career, drawing on her experiences across 20+ countries to bring fresh perspective and creativity to every project.
