Reviews

Dave is the best kind of journalist-willing to write prose with perspective, care and humor. -John Travolta, two-time Oscar nominee Dave Schlenker's anecdotes offer tangible takeaways that leave you wanting to be just a little bit better. Or kinder. And definitely funnier. He's a Florida treasure. -Ken Block, lead singer for Sister Hazel Dave Schlenker points out the absurdities all around us with humor, grace, verve and skill. After you read one of Dave's columns, the problems of the day will seem a little less daunting. -Jim Ross, editor, In Season: Stories of Discovery, Loss, Home, and Places In Between Dave is a comedic respite in a humor-deprived world. Just try not to laugh while reading. My bet is you will nod and smile in agreement with every essay and, maybe, end up with a Corgi or two. -Amy Mangan, author of Accent Pieces and This Side Up If you love reading Dave Barry, you are going to love reading this Dave, too. -Jennifer Murty, publisher, Ocala Style Magazine
