Reviews

'Bert Kritzer has long been the nation's leading scholar of judicial selection for state courts. In an area likely to expand exponentially in the future, this book will be an invaluable reference for both scholars and practitioners.' Malcolm M. Feeley, Jurisprudence and Social Policy Program, School of Law, University of California at Berkeley 'Bert Kritzer is a scholar's scholar, and his talents are on full display here. Litigating Judicial Selection is an extraordinary resource for students of, and researchers in the field – the starting point for anyone doing a deep dive into judicial selection that will aid them in giving context to their projects.' Charles Gardner Geyh, John F. Kimberling Professor of Law, Indiana University Maurer School of Law, Bloomington 'A leading law & society scholar whose focus extends beyond the US Supreme Court offers the definitive analysis of litigation over judicial selection in state courts. An objective and thorough analysis of state courts, now ground zero for the most compelling issues of our day from voting rights and political gerrymandering to reproductive justice, gay rights, and ending white supremacy showing emphatically that who judges are and how we choose them matters.' Sally J. Kenney, Professor of Political Science, Tulane University
