Author Information

Mark Seliger is an American photographer who served as the chief photographer for Rolling Stone from 1992 to 2002 and shot more than one hundred covers for the magazine. Born in Amarillo, Texas, he now lives in New York and works for several Condé Nast publications, including GQ and Vanity Fair. Seliger has published several books, including In My Stairwell (Rizzoli, 2005). Fred Woodward is currently the design director of GQ. He is a recipient of the American Institute of Graphic Arts Medal—the highest honor his profession bestows.
