Dolly Hernandez, a member of the Florida Bar, obtained her law degree from the University of Miami School of Law and her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Miami School of Business with a major in Finance. Ms. Hernandez focuses her practice on complex marital and family law matters. Prior to forming her law firm, Dolly Hernandez, PLLC, Ms. Hernandez was an associate attorney at Baker & McKenzie LLP's Miami office and a partner at Kohlman Hernandez, P.A., a boutique marital and family law firm. Ms. Hernandez is a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rated attorney who for the past three consecutive years (2010-2012) has been listed as a Rising Star in the Florida Super Lawyers publication. Ms. Hernandez was also listed in ALM's 2012 Edition of South Florida's Top Rated Lawyers. Ms. Hernandez is a member of the American Bar Association where for the past two years, she has served as the Co-Chair of the Section of Litigation's Family Law Litigation Committee and has further served as a Vice-Chair of the Section of International Law's International Family Law Committee. In 2012, Ms. Hernandez was appointed as a Co-Chair of the Hispanic National Bar Association's Family Law Section. Ms. Hernandez also serves as a member of the Florida Bar Family Law Rules and Forms Committee, First Family Law Inns of Court and the Collaborative Family Law Institute. Ms. Hernandez has published articles on the use of the Article 13(b) defense in international custody battles and the limits of electronic discovery in family matters. In addition, Ms. Hernandez has moderated panels on family law. Apart from her law practice, Ms. Hernandez is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator and Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator.
