<ul><li>Thomas D. Colin</li></ul>Thomas D. Colin, a member of Schoonmaker, George & Colin, P.C (Greenwich) is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and a Member of its Board of Managers. Colin practices statewide, having tried cases from Stamford to New London. He also served as lead trial counsel in 2007 for the successful father in what is reportedly the longest child custody trial in United States history, spanning over eight months, a complex case involving the retrieval and analysis of electronic computer evidence and the evaluation of serious health issues. He is former Co-Chair of the American Bar Association's Family Law Section Ethics, Professionalism and Grievance Committee, an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association's Family Law Section Executive Committee, where he is the immediate past chairman of the Connecticut Bar Association Family Law Section. In addition, he is the former chair of the Family Law Section of the Fairfield County Bar Association. He is co-editor of Connecticut Family Law Citations and has lectured and written both nationally and in Connecticut on family law issues in general and trial practice in particular.
