Overview

I grew up in Liberty City, when my mom and dad moved from Overtown. I attended Holmes Elementary, and Edison Park Elementary, then I transferred to Little River Elementary, because my dad's income changed. That's where most black people lived during those times. My dad was employed at the Seaboard Railroad where he earned enough money to move his family into a middle-class neighborhood. Our area was segregated where the black people lived on one side of the wall and the white people lived on the other side. The wall divided the houses. On the other side of the street was the Pork & Bean Projects. In the front of our house was an apartment complex named the Knight Manor but we called it the Village. I attended Allapattah Middle School, and Robert E. Lee Middle School. My sophomore year, I started school at Miami Northwestern Senior High. I played basketball my first year and was voted Most Improved Player. Later in my senior year, I won second team All-City, that's now called All Dade Team. After graduation, I attended Miami Dade Community College (New World Center), now known as (Wolf-son Campus). Due to the changes in my environment I didn't go off to college because I wanted to stay home to help my mom. My dream was to relocate my parents to another neighborhood. My goal was to be an entrepreneur to provide for my family, however, my life took off in a different direction that lead to me serving 30 years in Federal Prison. I was the 1st person that Atlanta, Georgia tried to prosecute under the death Penalty charges for the Rico Law (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization).
