Highly recommend! Such an endearing way to teach young children and older ones too about Chakras! The illustrations are wonderful. The information is accessible and well presented. I highly recommend this book. It is a wonderful gift to keep for yourself or give to others. Wanda Cohen It is a delight to read, and is so beautifully and colorfully illustrated. I love how Emily shares her knowledge with her son in real life, and it translates so authentically in the story of a boy and his pet Kitty Lila, in a Journey of surprises along the way. There is even a surprise at the end, for the reader to get creative themselves. Susan Boddy Liam & Lila's Rainbow Adventure is a wonderful children's book that offers a fun and engaging way to introduce kids to the concept of chakras and their significance in our lives. I appreciate how the book teaches valuable life lessons in a simple and easy-to-understand way that children can grasp. The book is both literal and metaphorical - and the illustrations are very pleasing! Great for doing lessons for kids going one chakra at a time thanks to the coloring pages. A home run! As other reviewers mentioned, the chakra should be explained or at least introduced, without necessarily relying on an adult to narrate it and explained it - this is just a suggestion for the author. EMILY MANCHESTER BSN, RNFrom the age of five years old, after dealing with my own severe health struggles, I yearned to help people through the power of medicine.
