"Letters From Mr. J B Fact Finder started as an e-mail that was sent out once a week to everyone on a growing e-mail list. The list of e-mail recipients kept growing, and the letters kept growing and eventually became a book that would later become a finalist at the 2020 IAN book competition. Letters From Mr. J B Fact Finder is a book about history trivia. We take a look at moments in history and some of the people involved. We will learn about corporate pioneers, how holidays throughout the calendar year got their start, and more. We even take a look at some crazy laws across the country. This is not your typical trivia book listing fact after fact, line by line. Each chapter is its own subject, and each subject is written in the form of a letter. There is a letter for each week of the year. These are stories that you will be sharing with your friends. Do you know who called themselves the Peanut Specialist? What famous person loved to ride his bicycle but did not trust the brakes on the bike so whenever he wanted to stop, he would always drag his feet? "Joe Boyd is originally from Texas where he was born and raised. He has a degree in Business Management and currently works as a Purchasing Coordinator for a mortgage company. Joe has served as Jacksonville Camp Vice President for Gideons International. Joe W. Boyd is an author who is passionate about history and trivia. Joe says that trivia is the fun side of history, full of fascinating things that often get overlookedThis is the author's first book. His writing style could probably be best compared to Paul Harvey and his ""Rest of the Story"" books and writings."
