Associate Professor Joshua Aston holds the position of Associate Dean of Law and is a member of the Executive in the School of Business and Law at Edith Cowan University (ECU). Prior to joining ECU, he served as the Dean and Officer on Special Duty to the Vice Chancellor at Gujarat National Law University, India. He has also held the role of Deputy Director at Symbiosis Law School, Symbiosis International University, India. Presently, he serves as the Adjunct Associate Professor of Law at Amity University, India and Honorary Adjunct Professor of Law at Galgotias University, India. Dr Aston's remarkable academic achievements include being awarded the prestigious Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD) scholarship from Germany which led to his invitation as a Research Scholar by the Institute of Air, Space and Cyber Law at the University of Cologne, Germany. He is also recognized as an Asian Law Institute Fellow of the National University of Singapore, Singapore. In addition, he was honoured with the Israeli Government Scholarship, channelled through the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, and was invited as a Research Scholar by the Buchmann Faculty of Law at Tel Aviv University for a duration of eight months. His educational background in the field of Human Rights Law has provided him with a solid foundation, enabling him to delve into specific areas of study by examining the impact of national-level actions on the international stage. Throughout his academic pursuits, he has maintained a steadfast focus on the issue of human rights violations, a subject of great relevance in contemporary civil society. This passion has driven him to extensively research and publish on the pressing matter of Modern Slavery, offering profound insights. Professor Aston's research continually challenges the existing paradigms, and his scholarly writings compellingly advocate for the need to effect positive change in various situations, aiming for a more compassionate and humane world. Dr Aston's commitment to community service is exemplified by his involvement as a Board Member of the Joondalup Business Association. In this capacity, he plays an integral role in fostering the success and sustainability of the local business community in the City of Joondalup. Prof. (Dr.) Aditya Tomer is a distinguished legal scholar and academic leader currently serving as the Dean of the School of Law at Galgotias University, Greater Noida. With a career spanning over two decades, he has established himself as an authority in comparative law, arbitration, human rights, and emerging techno-legal fields. His academic journey includes a Doctorate in Laws (LL.D.) from CCS University, Meerut, where his research focused on the enforcement mechanisms of the Right to Information Act in India. Prior to his current role, Dr. Tomer served as Additional Director and Head of Institution at Amity Law School, Noida, where he contributed significantly to legal education and research. His academic leadership extends to mentoring Ph.D. scholars at institutions like Amity University and Gautam Buddha University. A prolific author, he has penned 22 books, including Scopus-indexed publications with Springer Nature and Thomson Reuters, and over 40 research papers in esteemed journals such as those indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, and UGC CARE. Dr. Tomer’s expertise spans diverse areas, including contract law, labor law, artificial intelligence in legal systems, and transgender rights. He has collaborated with national bodies like the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) and the National Commission for Women (NCW) to organize workshops and training programs on human rights and gender justice. His recent research explores the intersection of technology and law, with publications on AI, IoT, and digital trademark enforcement. Beyond academia, Dr. Tomer actively engages with the legal profession as an evaluator for judicial service examinations (UPPSC, Tripura) and a member of the Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh. His commitment to legal education and policy reform underscores his vision for a progressive and inclusive legal framework. Dr. Deevanshu Shrivastava is an ardent academician and zealous legal researcher, having 12+ years of teaching experience. After having cleared his UGC NET in Law twice and also MPSET, he completed his Ph.D. in Intellectual Property Laws from Barkatullah University, Bhopal. Apart from this he also holds Diploma in Cyber Law, Diploma in Medical Laws, Diploma in Media and Drone Laws. He has various certificate courses from WIPO, University of Penn in his field of study IPR. He was the founding Head of Central India’s first and only Public Policy school, Jagran School of Public Policy and International Affairs at Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal. He is an active member on various editorial boards and a lifetime member of national and International Journals. He is on the advisory board of various legal platforms. He also has a great experience of participating and in conduction of Debates, Moot Court, ADR Tournaments, Policy Dialogues, Legal Aid Camps and various others like activities. He has won the prestigious ‘Excellence in Research Award’ thrice in the academic year 2015-16, 2016-17 & 2017-18. He was also awarded with the Outstanding Performer for the year Award for 2015-16. He was felicited with the prestigious Excellence in Research Award in 2018 and the Best Faculty (Law) Award, 2019 by Arjun Das Gulati Foundation in collaboration with Allahabad University, Allahabad. He received the prestigious Best Faculty in Law at the International Academic Awards in Dubai presented by GISR and American College of Dubai in October 2019. He has been awarded with prestigious BW40under40 Legal Awards for his contribution to legal academia in 2024. Dr. Deevanshu has been very actively acclaimed for his editorials in various leading newspapers and is a regular invitee as a resource person at various national and international gatherings. He has been a trainer for leading government and nongovernmental organizations. Dr. Shrivastava is proudly serving as the Founding Dean and Professor, at GL Bajaj Institute of Law, Greater Noida, India. Priyanka Ghai With over 10 years of teaching and research experience, Dr. Ghai is working as an Associate Professor at Department of Legal Studies, Galgotias University. After completing her Masters in Law from National Law University Delhi, Dr. Ghai remained involved in research work and brought forth the various issues relating to the protection of child rights, human rights and various issues connecting to constitutional law. The title of her PhD thesis is The Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Amendment Act, 2016: A Critical Study of Educational Issues in a Constitutional Perspective Along with long experience in teaching, various research papers in SCOPUS, Web of Science, UGC- Care listed journals etc. Dr. Ghai not only participated, presented research papers and has been invited to National and International conferences but also got the opportunity to organise as convenor various conferences, webinars in collaboration with the National Commission of Women (NCW), workshops, training programmes, ADR and other legal debate competitions etc. Dr. Ghai while claiming her specialisation in Constitutional Law and Human Rights, developed her interest in the field of educational issues of child labour. Dr. Ghai has been on the Panel of various advisory boards of reputed journals and international conferences, symposiums etc. Dr. Ghai has also been invited to judge various National and International Moot-Court Competitions. She is also on the panel of external examiners for dissertation evaluation in colleges and universities
