Currently the International Medical Director of Monash IVF, he has had a distinguished career both in general obstetrics and gynaecology, as well as in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. His excellence as a teacher is widely recognised and he frequently lectures in Europe and Asia. In addition to his professional accolades Professor Kovacs has published over 160 scientific papers and more than 50 chapters in textbooks. He is a director of ACCESS, Australia's national infertility network. Professor Kovacs qualifications include the MBBS (Hons) and MD from Monash University, FRCOG, FRANZCOG, CREI, FAICD and a Graduate Diploma in Management from Macquarie University.
