"""The significance of this volume cannot be overestimated. With contributions written by an international team of renowned specialists in moral, social, and political philosophy, the book testifies both to a wide scope of Alasdair MacIntyre's philosophy, and an increasing influence of his ideas across the world. The volume will not only be useful for teachers and students of the humanities. It will provide its readers with indispensable intellectual apparatus to understand, and to cope with, present-day societal transformations."" --Adam Chmielewski, Chair, Department of Social and Political Philosophy, The University of Wroclaw, Poland ""Much has been written about Alasdair MacIntyre's philosophy, but Learning from MacIntyre is without rival as a demonstration of the extraordinary range of MacIntyre's influence, not only within academic philosophy but across a variety of other disciplines."" --Peter Wicks, Scholar in Residence, The Elm Institute ""Learning from MacIntyre is a tour de force illuminating the evolution, complexity, and applicability of Alasdair MacIntyre's significant body of work to a range of disciplines and traditions. The work serves as a collection of masterclasses by eminent scholars who guide the reader through the breadth, depth, and development of MacIntyre's thought."" --Ann Gallagher, Head of Academic Nursing, University of Exeter"
