Reviews

Karen Firtel Clark graduated Cum Laude from Arizona State University in Industrial Design, College of Architecture. She was an industrial designer in the aerospace industry for 15 years. When her daughter was born, she began a career in elementary education. For the past 11 years, she taught children with autism, teaching them penmanship, reading, and math. Her passion for teaching and love for children inspired her to create this penmanship book, not only for children with autism but for all children in elementary school who struggle to learn to write. Combining her backgrounds in industrial design and elementary education, she spent 2 years creating this book, refining it as she used it with her students. Karen is continuing to work with children with autism in a school system in North Carolina where she resides with her family. This book is dedicated to my wonderful and amazing daughter Rachel.
