Overview

Certaines scenes de dialogue poetique fournissent meme des elements de dialogue en prose.------This is a story of how love was meant to be: naive, innocent, and full-hearted. East meets West and West meets East in this story, presented as it is in Romantic tradition, somewhat lavish and without apology. Dean ( or Din ) is a British francophone man originally from Lebanon; Fara is a woman from the American south. Each entry in the table of contents is one scene; most are set in poetic dialogue. The first scene is presented in story-telling prose in English. Almost all of the remainder is in French, presenting linguistic aspects of an inter-cultural romance engulfed in exogenous political exigencies, as well as those over space and time. Some of the poetic dialogue scenes include components of prose dialogue as well.
