Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationKristen Mai Giang is a Chinese American author who immigrated from Vietnam when she was eighteen months old and grew up in San Gabriel, California, a melting pot of Asian cultures and cuisines, which inspired Grandma's New Asian Kitchen. Ginger and Chrysanthemum, her debut picture book, draws from these memories as well as the antics of her two children and their cousins. Dow Phumiruk is a general pediatrician with a passion for art. When she is not teaching medical students or drawing, she can be found hiking on the trails near her home. She lives in Colorado with her husband and three girls. Quyen Ngo has previously worked as an on-air radio host, a DJ, and a reporter. After her time in commercial radio, she founded a podcast focused on telling stories from and about Vietnam.
