Overview

WARNING: This edition is updated to ISBN 978-0-473-39496-7. Free PDF copies @ http: //nemonik-thinking.org/books.html For more than two-and-halve thousand years, Lao Zi's Dao De Jing has been hiding information that is crucial for your personal success and the survival of humanity. This book demystifies that esoteric legacy from ancient China by presenting four new Chinese-English versions of Dao De Jing. The Meta-translation version is based on several Chinese and English versions (Schade, Meta-translation Lao Zi's Dao De Jing, 2017). However, Lao Zi's poetic style, mysticism, metaphors, aphorisms, and synonyms are still confusing that translation. Therefore, Lao Zi's mysterious terminology is replaced with plain language in the Clarification version, which runs parallel with the Meta-translation version. Nevertheless, that version is still ambiguous, because chapters about Dao are located in the De section and vice versa. Therefore, the chapters are sorted by topic in the Chapter Reorganization version. Nonetheless, the result remains fuzzy, because several chapters comprise more than one topic. Author Information

My life started during the devastation of World War II. As a teenager, I worked as a carpenter and studied building engineering at night school. During the seventies, I became a financial manager for a multinational corporation, ran my own business, and studied economics in my spare time. My interest in the psychology of management extended to the interaction between the mind, body, and reality. In 1980, I immigrated to New Zealand where I obtained a doctorate in psychology from the University of Auckland. My mission is to make people the smartest thinkers they can be, which has led me to the development of nemonik thinking.
