Overview

Landlord Tales is comprised of true short stories of residential and commercial tenants encountered while the author was landlord of a multi-functional real estate complex. It is a businesspersonas analysis of mind-boggling human behaviors. It is a passionate outreach for people to stop hurting others and to become responsible citizens. It portrays fighting for oneas dreams and not letting anyone destroy them. Landlord Tales began two years ago as a New Yearas resolution. Sarah became frustrated with the courts that protected irresponsible tenants, and local and state representatives who rejected her thoughts in regard to landlord issues. Her intent is to change landlord/tenant laws. Her writing started as a journal in hopes of obtaining inner peace regarding the crazy, deadbeat tenants who crossed her path. It became her survival through all the insanity. Sarah realized some of the stories were quite humorous and it felt good to laugh at past outrageous incidents. There are thousands of landlords who will relate to her stories and know they are not alone. Sarah LaVersa hopes to educate the aspiring real estate entrepreneur. Landlord Tales is an account of trials and tribulations one will go through if homework and research arenat done before acquiring properties. Her hope is for other landlords to come forward so laws can be changed to benefit both tenants and landlords.
