About The Author: Sensei Robert Christophe holds a 3rd degree black belt in Kyokushin Karate and has over 30 years experience in martial arts and performing arts education. His work with children has won multiple awards throughout school districts in the Los Angeles and Philadelphia areas. Drawing on this experience, he created the Kyoku-Kids Karate style specifically for children ages 3 to 7 with an emphasis on the aspects of character building and the development of attention span. His core belief is that the best teachers teach from a guiding principle and his is very simple: I want to help students create the habit of always striving for the best in themselves.
