Kwan Bu Jutsu: A Presentation of Kwanmukan Martial arts

Overview

This book expresses the essential features of the martial art known as Kwanmukan which flows from the pre-World War II teachings of Funakoshi Gichen by way of the Korean karate masters who trained in Japan prior to World War II. Kwanmukan is also influenced by Toyama Kanken through his association with Yoon Byung-in, a practioner of Kwan Bop Bu. These rich influences and unique perspectives make Kwanmukan a unique karate system that still incorporates the spirit of Okinawan grappling and throwing arts that were removed from many Japanese karate systems. Truly, this book is rich with information and insights for any martial artist.
