He is the Director of the Center for ICT and Society and the Smart Media Service Research Center. He is a co-editor of the Digital Business journal, an associate editor of the Telecommunications Policy journal, and one of the board members of the International Telecommunications Society. Dal Yong Jin is a distinguished SFU Professor. Jin’s major research and teaching interests are in digital platforms and digital games, globalization and media, transnational cultural studies, and the political economy of media and culture.
