I am not sure if the author meant for the book to be sang, but my kids turned the words into lyrics of their own song. Jessica Harris has loved creative writing since grade school. This story began following a visit to a local cat rescue shelter. Jessica made up a silly song about the experience to sing her daughter to sleep. Overtime, she decided the song would make a wonderful book.
