"Mean Pete Brandvold brings back hardened lawman Marshal Bloody Joe Mannion for another kick you in the face tale full of hot lead and cold corpses! Town Marshal ""Bloody"" Joe Mannion and his close friend, Wells Fargo detective Flint Henry, are on the trail of some of the most vicious killers Mannion has ever faced. Western novelist Peter Brandvold was born and raised in North Dakota. He has penned nearly 200 fast-action westerns under his own name and his penname, Frank Leslie, as well as Tabor Evans and, more recently, Max O'Hara, the name under which he has written the recent Wolf Stockburn Railroad Detective series. He is the author of the ever-popular .45-Caliber books featuring Cuno Massey as well as the Lou Prophet and Yakima Henry novels. The Ben Stillman books are a long-running series. Brandvold published two horror westerns-Canyon of a Thousand Eyes and Dust of the Damned, also republished by Wolfpack. Brandvold has lived all over the American west but currently lives in the woods of western Minnesota with his dog, Buddy. J. Rodney Turner is a prolific audiobook narrator who specializes in historical fiction set in the post-Civil War era, as well as Westerns, mystery/thrillers, and crime dramas. Rodney served as an air traffic controller in the Navy and in the Federal Aviation Administration for a combined thirty-one years. He has two sons, four grandsons, and one granddaughter, and resides in a small farming community north of Nashville, Tennessee, with his wife of over twenty years, Julie, and their daughter, Rylie.
