He graduated from the Lutheran Seminary in St. Louis in 1965 and was granted an honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree by Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1998. Don has authored numerous books including his best-selling Christ-Esteem. In 2017, Don adapted Katherine Parr’s The Lamentation of a Sinner. This is probably the first time this treatise has been made available as a stand-alone volume since 1562. It remains the only available edition.
