Amy has written articles for the SCBWI blog Kite Tales, worked as a screenwriter and lyricist for Bay Area children's program Duck, Duck Goose, and reviewed audiobooks for AudioFile Magazine. She earned an MFA in Writing for Children from Hamline University. Alessia was Born in southern Italy in 1990 but she grew up in Rome, where she still lives. She has wanted to be an illustrator since she was a child.
