Overview

Chongqing is a sprawling municipality at the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing rivers in south-western China; its population is around 32 million. Canada is a country in North America, with a population of 37 million. Among all these Canadians, one lucky boy--Jorah Kai--married Xiaolin Wang, a local Chongqing beauty. Kai's Diary is the story of this Canadian's two-month-long self-quarantine in Chongqing in 2020, when Covid-19 crippled the world. It shows the importance and true meaning of patience and love. Kai loves his wife and his city. The Chinese people have worked hard, self-quarantined for a long time, and proved the power of cooperation and dedication to the common good in their long struggle to control this invisible enemy and are striving to make life better in the new normal of life in the aftermath of the pandemic.
