Overview

The title of my book, says it all, ""Just When I Thought My Life Was Over, God Spoke and Said Where Art Thou?"". I wrote this book in reference to where my life was and is going today, waking up one morning at 51 years young with three grown children and eleven grandchildren. Having to walk away from family members that I loved, trusted and a marriage that I thought would last forever. When it feels like the rug has been snatched! From up under your feet, you lose your balance and fall suddenly. You lay there for a minute hoping that you are okay and you finally sit up embarrassed a bit and you look around your surroundings, and you quietly wonder to yourself, what happened? You pick yourself up, as you think to yourself, how did this fall come out of know where, when you thought you were walking so safely as you always do? This is the same shock that we get when people betray our hearts, wound you, and life sometimes disappoints us. In those vulnerable moments, many of us have asked God where am I? Where do I go Lord from here? And why did these things happen to me? This has been my story for most of my life, coming from a cycle and pattern of trauma and broken relationships throughout my upbringing and the environment that I was raised in. We live in a society where it feels like at times who can you trust? And these feelings can leave you feeling alone, broken and fearful. These feelings can be overwhelming and even depressing at times and wondering does God hear your cries for help? This is the reason why I wrote this book to help guide you and lead you towards a life of healing and overcoming those past traumatic experiences and grief that many of us have endured or may be going through right now. With the power of prayer and God being head of your life and your family, you can never be steered wrong. God's powerful love for us all overcomes all the brokenness and fears that we may have in our life. I have written out some questions also at the back of the book for you to use as tools, to help identify your trauma or circumstances that will help to lead you towards your new journeys of being free from that cycle and patterns of brokenness and uncertainty about where you want to be at in your life today. Furthermore, what can you do to overcome those obstacles. With God leading you to work towards your goals, visions and plans that you want for yourself, as I am too on my new journey of freedom with Christ as head of my life today. This is a powerful book that I have written, that details the many adversities that has happened to me, even from my mother's womb, traumatizing me for most of my life. Through all of the vicious attacks on my life and my children's lives too, I never lost my faith in God that he heard all of my prayers and that God would deliver me from those who were really my silent assassins! God brought me out! Each time Amen! Take this powerful journey with me, as I use some powerful scriptures from the holy Bible to further empower you, by using the word of God as our shield and protection from the attacks of the enemy. This book that I wrote intensely, from the depths of my soul, as God directed my thoughts will indeed bless you in your life and help to free you of some things that may be hindering you from your growth in Christ and your goals. My new friends in Christ my prayers are with you and your family and please establish your own personal relationship with Christ against the enemy. Amen!

Furthermore, I am a fifty-one-year-young mother, born right here in my fabulous city of Chicago, IL, residing in the River North community. God has blessed me to be a mother of three wonderful adult children and I am blessed to have eleven amazing grandchildren, who are close to my heart. We have an adorable four-year-old American Pit bull Terrier named (Miracle), my spoiled baby girl who keeps me young and active. A few years back I graduated from Olive Harvey College, Kennedy King College and National Louis University right here in Chicago. Currently, I am finishing up my master's degree as a clinical counselor at The Chicago Professional School of Psychology. I am a born-again Christian, servant, disciple, and follower of Jesus Christ in heaven. Furthermore, my mission as a servant of Jesus Christ is to love and serve all ethnicities of God's children and to help lead as many souls to Jesus Christ, at one's own willingness to do so.
