Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationTeresa Montaner is a curator oft he Joan Miro Foundation in Barcelona, she is member oft he jury fort he Pilar Juncosa Grant, and was very successful in Spain 2021 with the show on Miro, Gaudi, Gomis. Joan Miro (1893- 1983) was a Catalan painter who combined abstract art with Surrealist fantasy. His mature style evolved from the tension between his fanciful, poetic impulse and his vision of the harshness of modern life. He worked extensively in lithography and produced numerous murlas, tapestries, and sculptures for public spaces. Fabienne Eggelhoe fer (born 1974) has been appointed in 2017 as chief curator and head of collection, exhibitions and research at the Zentrum Paul Klee, Bern. From 2005 to 2017 she was curator for modern and contemporary art at the Zentrum Paul Klee where she realized numerous temporary exhibitions and collection displays. In 2012 she completed a research project on Paul Klee's teaching at the Bauhaus that culminated in an online database of Klee's teaching notes. Patricia Juncosa Vechhierini is an art hisorian and the curator oft he Pilar and Joan Miro Foundation in Mallorca. She is considered an expert on Miro, especially his years on Mallorca, where the Foundation now maintains his former studio building as a museum.
