OverviewLike almost no other artist of his generation, Canadian Jeff Wall (born in 1946) has focused on the potential of artistic composition, the boundaries between the genres of painting, photography, sculpture, and film, fiction and reality. His first European solo exhibition was held in Munich in 1984, and his first monograph titled Transparencies was published here two years later.
