I have always enjoyed creative writing and new challenges; publishing a book covers both areas. I have chosen to publish this book using the pseudonym of M. G. Garland. I did not want to write under my own name as I want to keep my writing and teaching separate from each other (for now). I am not yet ready for my books to be talked about in school. M.G. Garland is a real person; she was my grandmother and was always there to give me words of wisdom when I was growing up.
