Giordana Romano, (January 10th 1977) was born in Naples, Italy, where she grew up and later moved to Longboat Key, Florida, United States. Her maiden name was Giordana Rizzo, she enrolled at the University of Florida and studied Communication and Social Sciences. Now she is considered one of the most authorities on her area. She is an Italian-American cook and writer famous for introducing traditional Italian cuisine to the United States and the United Kingdom. His cookbooks are credited with introducing the public in the United States and the United Kingdom to the traditional techniques of Italian cooking and others acquired in his travels around the world without losing the true essence of the representative flavors of Italy. In 2007 she married Jhon Romano, an Italian-American who lives in New York, where he now resides with her family. Giordana Romano only started cooking after getting married, developed recipes for traditional Italian cuisine, and opened her own school in 2015. Perfectionist and traditionalist, his recipes adhere to the strictest Italian regional tradition with preference to the use of hands rather than appliances, fresh food, few high-quality ingredients and mostly simple recipes.
