The information is most up to date and presented in a highly accessible style. The glossing of key concepts and terms in the text is extraordinarily helpful. A must-read for anyone interested in Business English or seeking guidance on research-informed practice in their Business English classroom! Zuocheng Zhang, University of New England, Australia Moving beyond a traditional textbook, this volume skillfully combines up-to-date theory with practical strategies for the Business English classroom. The authors are well-known experts of BE, ESBP and ESP at large. The chapters cover a wide range of workplace settings, from face-to-face meetings to contemporary web-based communication. This book offers a novel hands-on approach to teaching English as the lingua franca of business, and is an invaluable resource for all students and practitioners within the field. Ulla M. Connor, Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis, USA This book is a welcome and long-overdue addition to the field of Business English, providing an extremely comprehensive and authoritative introduction for both undergraduate and postgraduate students and language teachers.
