He specializes in blast-resistant materials and construction project management. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Universiti Pertahanan Nasional, Malaysia (2012), an M.Sc. in Construction Project Management from Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia (2005), and a B.E. in Civil Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (2002). Dr. Sreevalsa Kolathayar Dr. Sreevalsa Kolathayar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), one of India’s premier technical institutions. He earned his M.Tech. from IIT Kanpur and Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), and served as International Research Staff at UPC BarcelonaTech, Spain. Dr. Sreevalsa has authored/edited 21 books, published over 150 research articles, and holds five patents. His books are globally recognized and used as reference texts in prestigious institutions such as MIT, Stanford, IITs, and NITs. He has received numerous awards, including the IEI Young Engineer Award, South India’s Most Inspiring Young Teacher Award, and the ISET D.K. Paul Research Award. He actively contributes to professional and academic communities, serving on editorial boards of international journals, technical committees of the ASCE Geo-Institute, and working groups of BIS CED 39. Dr. S. Durgadevagi Dr. S. Durgadevagi is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur Campus. She has fourteen years of diverse experience in academics and research projects. She completed her B.E in Civil Engineering at Anna University, Chennai, her M.E. in Geoinformatics with a gold medal at the College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University and her Ph.D. at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur. She has published more than 30 research papers in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Durgadevagi has successfully undertaken a major funded project titled ""Enabling of Academic Institutes in Technical Textiles”, as a Co- Principal Investigator, supported by the National Technical Textiles Mission (NTTM), Ministry of Textiles, with a grant of ₹5.09 crore. Dr. R. Ramasubramani Dr. R. Ramasubramani is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur Campus. He obtained his B.E. in Civil Engineering from Anna University, followed by an M.Tech. in Structural Engineering and a Ph.D. in Concrete Technology from SRM Institute of Science and Technology. His research focuses on sustainable and advanced concrete materials, including coconut shell concrete, fiber-reinforced concrete, high-strength concrete, and innovative structural systems. Dr. Ramasubramani has published over 70 papers in SCI and Scopus-indexed journals, served as a reviewer for 14 international journals, and holds one granted patent with two more published.
