This well written, thoroughly researched and interesting book provides a comprehensive and well balanced account of what causes inflation and what we can do about it. The book covers everything from the basics of how inflation is defined and measured through to the impact of inflation and its winners and losers. It also examines deflation and why it is regarded as a problem by economists. The book examines the history of world inflation.
